Clondulane Country Fair, Fermoy, Ireland

We're not long back in our house, we had a brilliant weekend, the hospitality was amazing as per usual.... We arrived at the Ballyroe Weight Pull Bullys motel in Athy at about 4:00am Thursday, had a chill out day on the Friday and got everything ready then headed down to Cork on the Saturday, Nice turn out of people and a bloody good crowd there to watch the weight pull run by Connamara Working Bullyz, all the dogs got to try out the rail road........ Needles to say they mostly took to it like a duck to water.......... Which brings us to another thing.... everyone were worried about the weather, because leading to the show most of Ireland was underwater..... but the show being in Cork... (if you pardon the pun) of course the weather turned out fine.....

There was a fair good turn out of dogs for the weight pull and Bullseye beat his all time record by pulling 1939lbs, he won most % by achieving 44x Body weight! would've pulled 2100lbs but timed out, however when I touched his collar he pulled it!

He also got a 2nd in the Stafford ring! Judged by Ricky Bernard

We also see a lot of other dogs new to the weight pull scene... some of them non bull breeds, showing a lot of promise!

We would like to thank everyone at the Clondulane Country Fair for making this day possible!

Brilliant, be great to see you there... I think they have one on in August Co Carlow.... Although there is one in Athy, Co Kildare at Spud's place on the 24th of this month
