i cant belive people still bait dogs at pulling and bait on collars to surely people can see its not right to pull on a collar its obviously gonna cause damage to the throat and neck !!!!!!!!!!!
and baiting is just as dangerous to the sport and the breeds involved it looks awfull seeing a dog so frustrated it ll pull any weight just to bite the toy ball what ever its being baited with how would the press spin that ???????? ive seen baited dogs snap at owners also, is that the bond you want with your dog !!
a dog that loves you and is trained and worked right that will try overcome any obstacle, thats the type of dog i want !!
weight pull right or wrong

Re: weight pull right or wrong
I voted for 'harness unbaited' as this is the way I've been taught by the experts and I believe it's best for my dog and his safety IMO. I assumed when I first heard about the sport that it was baited. (Luckily I never tried that!) My dog would get very frustrated and I know that he would not pull if I did bait him. He picked it up immediately :D each to their own

Well said Mellisa,
I was about to take the baited route............. until I was educated otherwise!
