Well first things first, the UPF Base Camp in Sheffield will be closing some time in 2016 there is currently no official date, however this will not be the end of The United Pulling Federation or The Players Club, the UPF are currently trying to get new venues lined up, venues that will allow them to expand what they currently do, there has been proposals of doing more than just canine weight pull, however it is sad that the yard at Wansfell road is closing, many on this forum (myself included) have been there either to compete or simply to spectate, it is where competitive canine weight pull first started in the UK back in 2005, however with increased rents & the decline of the area the UPF has decided that it would be best to move to somewhere that would be better suited to what they need to do, we've all enjoyed going there, so I thought it was only right that the old place had a decent send off, so I have made a video with clips & photos from various competitions that have taken place at Wansfell Road over the last few years...
