Hi Tigerlily. Have you tried leaving the TV or Radio on when you go out during the day. I have used this in the early days and have recommended it to other owners who find a difference in their FurBaby(ies). Try it and see if that helps.

Re: Separation anxiety
Hi. Thanks for that tip. I had heard of that before but to be honest we seem to have cracked the daytime routine! Nightimes are loads better too with fewer and fewer accidents so hopefully this keeps on going. If he does carry on improving I might even buy him a new bed for Xmas ha ha!!

Re: Separation anxiety
That's great to hear, so glad you are not giving up on him. If he reverts just try the radio.

Re: Separation anxiety
Hi thanks for the support. We are really pleased with the way things are going - after 3 years we were getting a bit desperate but just a fresh pair of eyes has made so much difference. People who know us through dog walking etc, always ask how the dogs are doing and we are so chuffed to be able to say 'we think we've cracked it!!' We couldn't give up on him - at the end of the day we rescued him to give him a better life - thanks to your help we've done it - along with many hours of you tube videos of course!

Re: Separation anxiety
Not really into the competitive side of things but I did take him to agility classes for fun when we first got him just to try and burn off some of his energy. He enjoyed this but I think looking back we tried it too soon after we got him. Now he's more settled I have been thinking about taking him back because he was good and still enjoys the bits we do when we are out on our walks.

Re: Separation anxiety
Sounds good, it's just that sports for dogs is very beneficial as it directs them into something, in other words give them a job... if you do start taking him back to agility let us know how you get on & take loads of pics?
