I have a 5 year old Olde tyme bulldog who has just been diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy and given a few months to live, he will only eat cooked chicken breasts and tuna at the moment, won't touch his wet or dry feed, can anyone recommend any foods to try. He was eating Simpsons 80/20 dry food and Rocco beef mixtures but won't even give them a sniff now.

Hello and welcome to the forum, firstly sorry about the bad news.

Given the situation, feed him what he wants to eat, in this case cooked chicken breasts and tuna.

Thanks, I am feeding him what he wants but he has terrible trots always very loose. I'm giving him vitamin B12 as provided by his vet but it doesn't seem to be having any effect.

Try boiled eggs if he'll eat them, also you could try him with raw chicken if, again if he'll eat it.
