Welcome to the forum Ken!!!!

Look forward to pictures of your girl, what is her name? Thank you for rescuing and helping her. American Bulldogs can be stubborn, but they are very, very smart :)

Have you considered crate training her and setting a firm schedule for potty breaks? I found with our 3 pit bulls that crate training was a positive thing for me and them. The crate becomes their safe zone and they really don't like to potty in the crate, but scheduled potty breaks are a must.

Most pit bulls LOVE treats and they are a valuable training tool.

Good on you ken now shes getting decent food and attention she ll soon put weight on and as she grows she should grow more confident crate training would be a tremendous help with house training as they dont normaly like to dirty there bed also they feel safe in the crate as long as you do it right and make it a place for treats and when things are a bit much for her she ll retreat there if you google crate training theres loads of good guides on how to do it when u want to introduce her to men have them come around sit them down and then let her come into the room and she can investigate them at her own pace have them ignore her just sit there chatting as normal amd she will read from you that alls ok she will be skittish when she does approach them but tell them to ignore her for a bit while she sniffs when she allows them to stroke her to stroke under her chin and not on top the head and to move slow as if she been hit she may be head shy but will come around soon enough was her name ziva already if so change it as she may associate it with being hit etc easy to change her name bag of treats that are small enough to swallow in 1 go and call the new name and guve the treat she ll get it quick can do same with visitors visitors with tasty treats are good good luck keep us updated mate
