I'm very glad to find this forum.

My name is Patty and I have had Pit Bulls and Shar Peis for the last 15 years. My current girl BrahmaDonna (BooBoo) is now 6 years old, how time flys. We adopted her from the Orange County Animal Shelter in California. All of our dogs have been adopted. There are so many great dogs just waiting for a home. Everyone should look at their local shelters first!!!

She is a great companion and became part of our family quickly. Very well behaved, SMART and will do anything for treats!!!! It is a battle to keep her weight in control she will eat, eat and eat some more.

Here is a picture of her fitting for this time of year.

I need to find the time to get BooBoo into weight pulling. She also has the nickname "Baby Got Back". Her rear thighs are huge!! I think she could really dig in and pull a good load.

No, I have never tried weight pulling before. I will read the article you mentioned. She is a strong one for sure both in shoulders and rear.

I always enjoyed reading "Reds" post on weight training, pulling and everything thing else she taught us over the years. I hope she and her husband are doing well. Met her once a a dock diving event at the local Bass Pro Shop.
